Enriching our Curriculum

We value our deep, broad and enriched curriculum which inspires our children to love learning, to broaden their learning and enables them to flourish academically, creatively, emotionally and spiritually. Through an enriched curriculum we can help talents to be nurtured and to grow.

We actively plan in full use of our off-site learning ‘classrooms’.

Our SMSC Tracker

We set half term projects based on learning in any of our curricula subjects.

An example of a project brief

We have Enrichment Fridays when our children in each key stage sign up to ‘clubs’ in mixed–age groups. Some clubs include: junk modelling, knitting, puppet-making and origami.

Our children love our extensive After School Club programme.

We make links with past pupils, our community elders, secondary schools (both day and boarding) and our Deanery schools.

Tales from our Community project

Our children develop a dedication and determination to strive for excellence. Our Y6 children attend Saturday booster and holiday booster sessions for most of the year, with a smile!

We apply for grant funding to fund many activities which would otherwise not be available due to budget constraints. We are grateful to Thomas’s Schools Foundation, City Living Fund, Unlocking Gifts (London Diocese), Bonas McFarlane, Friends of Treginnis and many individuals who support us financially.
